Tapes n’ Tapes n’ Tapes n’ Tapes n’ Tapes
I absolutely loved the debut LP from Minnesotan quartet Tapes n’ Tapes (as did anyone with much sense) and now rumblings of the follow up “Walk It Off” are growing ever louder - due our way at the start of April. Demonstrating a somewhat more corse, rough sound on top of what would have previously been described as quite raw, album track “Hang Them All” appeared on their official website last week and has been making the rounds since - entirely justifying the exchange of pennies if its any indication of the rest of the album.
Irrelevant nitpicking, but it’s a shame the new album cover isn’t as gorgeous as the old one. Anyhow, a limited score of secret dates in London are previous to an American tour, but hopefully the guys will be back round to drop in a date somewhere nearby later in the year.
